Privacy policy
This page explains what personal data vanaxity.com collects, why, who helps us process it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to match what the site actually does.

Who we are
Vanaxity is a product of Van Data Team, a founder-led AI and data engineering studio in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and the trading name of a registered household business (hộ kinh doanh) owned by Tran Tien Van. That business is the controller: it decides how the personal data described here is used.

What we collect
This site has no forms and no accounts. It collects only what it needs to work and improve:
- Usage analytics from Google Analytics: pages viewed, the site or link that brought you here, approximate location, and device and browser type. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses.
- Conversion events: that a booking, email, Upwork, LinkedIn or Van Data Team service link was clicked, and which button it was.
- Request logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address and browser, for security and reliability.
- What you send us yourself: emails, and the details you enter if you book a call through Calendly.
How we use it
To see which pages are useful so we can improve them, to reply when you write to us or book a call, and to keep the site secure.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Analytics and cookies
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets no cookies until you allow it. Until you choose, or if you decline, Google may still receive basic signals without cookies or identifiers, which are only used in aggregate.
Everywhere else analytics runs by default, and you can decline at any time through Cookie settings at the foot of every page.
When analytics is allowed, Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_C45HS082G9 cookies, which last up to two years. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage as vanaxity-analytics-consent and is never sent to us.
The process video on the home page is served from this site; nothing loads from a video platform.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of providers, each for one job and under its own data protection terms. Some of them process data outside Vietnam and outside your country.
- Google provides Google Analytics, and hosts this site on Firebase Hosting (Google Cloud).
- Calendly handles call bookings, if you book one. Booking buttons open Van Data Team's booking link, vandatateam.com/book, which forwards you to Calendly.
- Cloudflare provides DNS for the domain.
How long we keep it
Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Analytics property, at most 14 months. Hosting request logs follow the provider's log retention.
Emails and booking details are kept while we discuss or deliver work with you and for our business records afterwards. Ask us and we will delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to trantienvan@vandatateam.com and we will reply as soon as we can.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the GDPR or its UK and Swiss equivalents give you these rights, and you can complain to your data protection authority. In Vietnam, Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection applies.

Changes to this policy
We update this page when what the site does changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
